Welcome to the Wulugu Project - Registered Charity Number 1060691

The Wulugu Project works in northern Ghana to tackle poverty through education

How To Give Your Time

Supporters of Wulugu Project have many talents as well as generous hearts.

Time can be useful to help the Project and much has been given freely by many.
We have Artists, Book sellers, Cake bakers, Fashion models, Gardeners, Journalists, Musicians, Quiz masters and Wine buffs here in Norfolk as well as Editors, Pilgrims, Proof readers, Runners ,Speakers and Tutors from a little further afield. All their help is gratefully received.

The committee always welcomes help when we organise events. Or events can be organised in your home, your village, at church, school or work. We would happily supply fliers, newsletters and posters.

We would be delighted to benefit from you reaching your goal on Mount Kilimanjaro, the Great Wall of China or the Coast to Coast Path in UK. Or lose a few pounds or grow a long beard or the tallest sunflower. Any challenge can be sponsored.

We would love to hear from you.

The one gift of time that we do not accept is the offer of Gap Year Students to help in Ghana. There are many talented Ghanaians living in the villages who can ‘Build classrooms, paint walls, dig wells and teach in the schools.’ We would rather employ them. At the moment we do not have facilities or the required network of responsible adults who wish to concentrate on looking after young visitors in these remote areas.
